About this Blog…
I’ve edited the “about this site” page, and thought it was worth sharing on the regular blog. I put it behind the more tag, but I don’t think those tags work on the RSS feeds. Sorry!
Welcome to my Travel Blog! Here you will find details about the trips I have gone on, tips for traveling, links, and other things related to traveling and my life as a traveler. I created this blog originally for my family, so they would be able to keep up with my life as I was abroad for nearly 8 months recently, however my blog has grown to include local trips as well as long-distance trips.
This blog is syndicated on Live Journal at Rebecca’s Travels and also is syched with my Facebook profile for the ease of my friends and family. If you add the LiveJournal feed, please remember to always click on the links to come directly to my site to leave comments, as I won’t see the comments left on LJ.
I am a freelance writer, and have been published in both print and digital formats. If you are interested in re-printing a blog post or having me elaborate on a subject previously blogged about, please feel free to contact me. I am available to hire either on a permanent basis or as a freelance contributor for your site or publication. I am in the process of digitalizing my portfolio and will provide pdf copies of printed articles if requested.
All photographs on this site have been taken by and are © Flutterby Design/Rebecca J Slominsky unless otherwise noted.
I also am a regular contributor on Associated Content. If you’d like to reprint any of my articles published there, you will need to contact Associated Content directly.
I love link backs. If you post a link to one of my blogs, please let me know so I can add a link back to you, too!
I’ve also been asked verbally to do the UK write-ups, so expect more posts coming 🙂 Maybe I’ll even get them finished before my next trip over! 😀
